Hello,
My name is Elizabeth Hodges, I am from Mexico City and came to The U.S. about 10 years ago. My main porpuse to inmigrate into this country was to have a better oportunity economically and in my education. I started taking ESL clases at Miracosta College and from there I decided to pursue a degree in Education. This will be my third semester in Cal State San Marcos and although is a great challenge for me I am very excited and thankful for the opportunity of being able to attend to this university.

As a single mom and having a job I really need to manage and organize my daily schedule if I want to succeed as a mom and as a student and of course as a good worker. But, I really try to do my best, my beautiful 7 month old baby named Noah is one of my inspirations, he inspires me to aspire for more because I want the best for him and for me of course.

My closest family in this country is my younger brother, he has a beautiful family and he is my great support. My parents live in Mexico as well as my younger sister and last but not least my older brother that lives in Michigan.
They all support me from wherever they may find. Also, friends, counselors and teachers from college that I had the opportunity to meet, they all are my inspiration.
As a person and as a (some day) professional I want to always be thankful and make echo to the unfogettable supportive people'words in my life and say: "si se puede" when you are determined to succeed.
